This is one of the best local places to come get delicious sushi! Man Sun is super affordable, but the low prices have a cost of their own: they miss the mark by a small margin when it comes to freshness and service.

Their miso soup, while good, is a little too salty--almost as though it came straight from a packet, but it's complimentary and served alongside a salad so all things considered it's a net gain. Additionally, their California roll avocado is a hit-or-miss deal, where sometimes it's great and others, it's served brown from the get-go.

On a more positive note, you can get a whole meal for incredibly little here (as low as $6!) and of the same quality you'd find at most other, more expensive, sushi restaurants.

I would definitely recommend coming for lunch because the prices are killer! Super affordable for good sushi!

Came here on a Thursday noon for lunch. The restaurant was quite small, so the tables were mainly full. We were seated and given our menus immediately, however it took a while to get someone to take our orders. There were only two waitresses working in a packed restaurant, so I understood.

We ordered an eel rice bowl (not pictured), the man sun lunch special, rice with fish egg (not pictured) and a beef teriyaki lunch box.
The eel rice bowl and the rice with fish egg were brought to our table and the waitress helped mix the bowls. Both were solid. We were originally going to order the sea urchin rice, but they ran out so we got the rice with fish egg. It had a mix of different things such as eel, uni, egg, etc. The eel bowl was solid, but not special.
The man sun lunch special came with a mix of sashimi, sushi, and tempura. This was a good portion of food for the price. The fish was good and not overly chewy.
The beef teriyaki lunch box was very worth for the price! It came with a bunch of food in the box and tasted good.

I heard that their lobster sashimi was also good, so I will definitely try that the next time I come!

My daughter and I were looking for a good new sushi place in between where we live as a good meeting place for dinner looking at the reviews I saw Man Sun, The Uni dishes caught my eye in the menu, The first good sign and there's people waiting out front to get in it's a small establishment but that's not always bad  Although no one was choosing the sushi bar  so  we sat right down,

One look at the sashimi dishes going out and start to drool!  You know you're going to be in for some good fish!  And they didn't disappoint!

My daughter and I are usually  pretty quick to judge but we were  really happy with the dishes we got
Everything was on point and fresh as could be!

The star of the show was the UNI!!
Freshest , cleanest, ive ever had!!
definitely made a customer out of me can't wait to come back!

If I had a choice to leave zero stars to this shitty fucking restaurant I would. I placed a phone order for 2 Rainbow rolls and a side of spicy mayo. The lady that took my order told me it would be a while because they were busy and it would be a 25 minute wait. When I arrived 30 minutes later they told me they did not receive a phone order so I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my rolls. So I get home and when I open my container I find this bullshit! They literally poured spicy mayo on side of the rolls So they obviously got my phone order and decided to lie to my face when I got there. I waited almost an hour for 2 rainbow rolls absolutely unreal! Fuck this place service was shitty so was the food.

Cozy family friendly restaurant. They are located on a busy street so you can kind of miss them if you are driving fast. You can either street park or put it in a tiny lot shared with another business.

Small restaurant with some private rooms to the side. Right away they offered water and hot tea. I was like what's that stuff floating around in the tea and tried to avoid the tea particles at first but realized they are brown rice and taste deliiiiicious. I uploaded a photo but I think there must be a better more appetizing looking one by another fellow yelper. Lol. I let it cool down and drank mine like a shot. Server said she couldn't help but notice me finish and would i like more. I was like hells yeah.

I am so busy once the food comes out I forget to take pics. They start off by bringing a small salad to share. I loved the dressing. I'm not a huge salad person and I'm picky about the dressing but theirs was good. They also gave miso soup and about sixish side dishes or banchan which is the Korean culture. The side dishes were all very fresh and seasoned well.

I ordered the soft shell crab. It was good but I would have preferred to have the sauce on the side and it be crunchier. Thats just me. I don't like my fried food to have any sauce on it cuz I'm like the crunchy police.

Man Sun lunch special included sashimi, sushi, tempura and a super spicy tuna roll (or you can choose cali roll). I thought pricing was good. Next to us they ordered the uni bowl which looks super fancy like it's out of those food competition tv shows. I actually think I saw someone do that on an episode of Chopped.

I also got the roasted Mackerel. Warning you it took a while. Literally came after we were done with everything else. But it's a healthy fatty fish and tastes yummy. Remembered to take a photo since it was right at the end.

They were very friendly and gave my son a cool toy at the end. Not to mention complimentary ice cream. Left stuffed and thinking I'll be back soon. Lots to try on the menu. Glad I found a new place to bring into eating out rotation.
